Two in One: Socionics for Coaching

Socionics and coaching have become today competitive methods of working with personnel, enjoy recognition and find new adherents. The knowledge of the client's socionic type helps the coach to achieve clearer understanding of his problem zones and true wishes. The article contains case studies of coaching sessions using socionic methods. Conclusion is made on positive effect of combining these two methods.

Socionic Statistics

The article presents results of a statistical research of 105 families (299 people altogether). All four basic socionic dichotomies are considered, their uneven distribution (including gender-relevant) is shown. The distribution of married couples by intertype relations is explored, as well as distribution of intertype relations between parents and their children. Some regularities relevant to birth of children with certain types depending to their parents types are revealed.

Description of Models of Psyche TIM

Type descriptions are widely spread in socionics though in reality they represent more or less adequate descriptions of real individuals belonging to some or other type of informational metabolism proper to the psyche. However, it has been psyche TIM model that reflects psyche structure and functioning mechanism that Aushra Augustinavichiute put in the basis of socionics; meanwhile, a real individual comprises a certain structure (psyche TIM model) filled with some real life information. Psyche TIM model descriptions serve the basis for socionic applications related to development of recommendations and prognoses related to real individuals. In the first part of the paper descriptions of psyche TIM models for the first quadra of socion are given.
