The article considers correlation between tasks characteristic to different personality development stages (age crises) according to E.Erickson, on the one hand, and functionality of functions of the Model A. Based on this comparison, socionic hypothesis of personality development is presented. The article elevates socionic approach from mere statement of presence of the personality type to the level of diagnostics and solution of people's problems.
